2. Surface Preparation – We remove or undercut the waterline tile as needed, clean the tile, and chip out old plaster and any hollow spots to create a solid base for the new finish.
3. Bond Coat Application – A specialized bond coat is applied to promote strong adhesion between the existing surface and the new plaster.
4. Tile & Equipment Installation (if applicable) – New tile and any necessary equipment are installed before applying the new finish.
5. Applying the New Finish – A high-quality pebble or quartz finish is carefully applied, enhancing both durability and aesthetics.
6. Acid Washing – For quartz finishes, an acid wash is performed by our plaster crew, and the pool is filled the same day. Pebble finishes require a curing period of 1-2 days before our acid wash team completes the process and begins filling the pool with water.
7. Final Walkthrough & Start-Up – Once the pool is filled, a service technician will visit to add start-up chemicals, provide a brief walkthrough, and review proper pool care.
